Ramia Saidawi
With over 15 years of IT experience, Ramia has worn many hats, from Java developer to automation test engineer and architect designer. Her story doesn’t stop at IT—she has also excelled in the social sector for over 7 years with the NZ Red Cross and various NGOs in New Zealand and Syria.
At BNZ for over 8 years, she’s mastered automation tools and frameworks, testing everything from Frontend and Backend to APIs and Bank Core Systems. As an E2E Test Architect, Ramia has been the glue in delivery teams, driving E2E CI/CD and fostering a team-wide quality culture. Her recent challenge involved automating testing new bank core systems, migrating from mainframe to the Cloud. and architecting MQ platform design in a multi-cloud environment.
Beyond tech, Ramia shines as a professional trainer, designing courses on soft skills and cultural awareness. Agile-savvy, self-motivated, and passionate about knowledge sharing and team growth.
