About NZTestingConf
NZTestingConf is a unique gathering for anyone passionate about quality. This includes: Software Testers, Test Engineers, Software Engineers, Software Developers, Lead Engineers, Test Leads, Tech Leads, Test Managers, Engineering Managers, Designers, etc.
This conference encourages people to connect with their community, grow beyond their current testing approaches, and keep up to date with trends in testing
It is the only major software testing conference in New Zealand
It is a platform for local speakers; an opportunity for Kiwi test enthusiasts to share their ideas with the community
All presentations are recorded and shared on our YouTube channel. This reaches a broader audience of tech enthusiasts beyond those who attended the conference in person.

Goals for NZTestingConf 2024
Centre the conference around a dedicated theme. This allows us to deliver more nuanced content that holistically explores a topic. Theme for NZTestingConf 2024 is “Explore the uncharted realms of software testing in Aotearoa”.
250-300 attendees
At least 50% of speakers are women and individuals from minority backgrounds in tech
Compensate all speakers and panellists. We want to start recognising the effort people invest in preparing and delivering their content to the community.
Increase accessibility of our content (e.g. professional live and/or closed caption, NZ Sign Language, etc.)

Terms and conditions
Sponsors are never given the attendee contact information, nor are they allowed to purchase speaking slots or panellist slots for talks and panel discussions at events hosted by NZ Tech Rally Ltd.
Sponsors must follow the event’s code of conduct, as will be highlighted in the contract. This applies to giveaways, items and images at the sponsor’s table, the behaviour of the sponsor’s staff, etc.
